DOXA AND DIVING WITH LEGENDS

I am often asked questions about Doxa diving watches, but have never been able to answer any. All I knew, was that Author Clive Cussler's character Dirk Pitt wore one. I have never owned a Doxa Dive watch. That was until now.

A couple of years ago I was approached by Dr Peter McClean Millar, he asked me if I would contribute to a book he was hoping to write.
Peter had already written the book, Doxa Sub 40 years, a book that celebrated the 40th anniversary of the the Doxa sub dive watch 1967-2007
I along with many others from the world of diving have been able to tell some of our stories through Peter's book, entitled "DIVING WITH LEGENDS"
I dont suppose there is anyone featured in the book that has ever considered themselves as a legend, but nevertheless it was an honour for me to help Peter turn the book into reality.

In order to commemorate the launch of the book Doxa produced a limited edition of 99 watches with the special Diving with legends logo on the dial and the limited edition number etc on the case back. The watch also sees the launch of the new Sub 1200T proffesional watch, which is based on the famous Sub 300T Conquistador.

I am now, the proud owner of my own copy of "DIVING WITH LEGENDS" and aslo the famous Orange dialled Doxa dive watch, just like Dirk Pitt!
