ROLEX 1665 SEA DWELLER RAIL DIAL
This is a great looking watch and ranks as one of my favourites. It originally belonged to a diving friend at Comex his name was Steve Gorton, he sold it in order to to raise money to buy a Comex 16660 owned by me from 1990-1994. I regret parting with that watch, but by a stroke of luck i ended up with this watch many years later. Its a long story, but many divers have traded thier Rolex diving watches in bars all over the world for many reasons. This watch has a mint rail dial which was made by the Stern dial company, the company that made a number of the dials for the Comex Rolex watches.

The last dive
This 1979 1665 Rail dial Sea dweller was the watch I wore for my very last Saturation dive, before moving out of the water to continue a career as a Dive Supervisor.
